Bungy Tutorial

Friday, August 27th, 2010

What do you get when you mix two parts Kiwi, one part dangling seat, and one part producer ordering his artist into a gulley?  Answer; BUNGY SWING MADNESS!!

Took a few days with friends and family, to stop and smell the roses, you know what I mean?  We’ve been working so hard and achieved so many great things, I figured what better time than this to catapult myself into the fright of my life!  Man it was awesome!  Check out the video, Shannon and I decided what better way to freak out, than to buddy up.  That first tumble felt like forever…nice warning bungy lady, thanks for that… and Wayne beautiful Fear Factor footage! Ahhhhhhhhh…

So now that my stomach is back in its proper place we head up to Auckland for a major PR event at York Street Studios, and then a junket to the States, Europe, and… you guessed it Israel!…

You’ll be hearing from me soon my friends, photos and peeps galore!

Love you all!

Go Viral Tour Photos

Thursday, August 19th, 2010

Hey my Pretties!  Finally got my hands on the photos from the ‘Go Viral Tour,’ some real fun shots…boy, the band sure knows how to make a mess at the airport lounge!  Haha! Dancers look hot, band looks hot, pump up the volume!

Far out, did those posters ever go fast, I think New Zealand ran out of silver felt pens because of me!  C’mon now Sharpie, keep up with the viral demand, my peeps like more than just Tour signatures on their forearms…

Enjoy the pics, more craziness on the way…all I’m going to say is “Bungy”…

Can you say “the Drive show?”

Tuesday, August 10th, 2010

Can you say “the Drive show?”  Apparently, my Kiwi Backyard Beats have been finding their way to listeners all across the country fed up with their day of work and going home to their sweeties.  Mai FM (Mor FM), Atiawa Toa FM and many trafficy vehicles have come to embrace La La La, and the requests are pouring in.

Now that ‘GO VIRAL Tour 2010’ has come and gone, my crazy Facebook continues to remind me of how amazing it was.  So many new friends, so many new fans, so many great priceless anecdotes;

…  “Anita autographed my arm at the Show;  I wanted to post it onTrade me (FYI New Zealands buy and sell Magazine), but my mum wouldn’t let me…”

… “We can’t stop singing ‘La La La’ in Math Class, so now the teachers banded it…”

…   “Maidstone will never be the same…”

7 shows, in Auckland and Wellington, they were so awesome!  Thanks so much to Paddi, Matt, Lea, Hyde, Glenn, Cory,  Ron, and all those at Dio, Papatoetoe, Taita, Maidsone, St. Joes, Naenae, Kapiti and to those who helped organise and bring so many, I will never forget you!

‘La La La’ yeeeaahhh!!!

Love you all, catch you soon! J
